‘The Super Mario Galaxy Movie’ is het vervolg op ‘The Super Mario Bros. Movie’ uit 2023. Die film ging over Mario en Luigi die in een andere wereld terechtkwamen.

Net zoals in de eerste film worden de stemmen ook in de tweede film ingesproken door Chris Pratt, Anya Taylor-Joy, Jack Black en Charlie Day. Zij zijn verantwoordelijk voor de rollen van Mario, Princess Peach, Bowser en Luigi.

Maar naast deze bekende gezichten krijgt de tweede film ook een aantal nieuwe gezichten. Of nou ja, nieuw... We kennen ze natuurlijk allemaal uit de videogames van Mario, want het gaat om niemand minder dan Rosalina en Bowser Jr. De personages worden ingesproken door Brie Larson en Benny Safdie.

'The Super Mario Galaxy Movie' is vanaf april 2026 te zien in de bioscoop.

“Ik heb de opnames vorige week afgerond”, aldus Sydney, die de rol van Cassie speelt in de serie. “Het is heel spannend. We hebben sinds februari gefilmd.”

De première voor het derde seizoen staat gepland voor 2026, ruim vier jaar nadat het tweede seizoen eindigde. fans mogen in het totaal acht afleveringen verwachten.

Naast Sydney keren ook Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, Hunter Schafer, Eric Dane, Alexa Demie en Maude Apatow terug in de serie.
