Jack werd door de politie meegenomen en achter de tralies gezet op basis van drie aanklachten. Hij was in het bezit van een verboden middel, had marihuana op zak en verzette zich bij zijn arrestatie. Het verboden middel zou amfetamine zijn geweest.

Heel lang heeft de YouTuber niet vastgezeten. Zodra hij daar de kans voor kreeg, betaalde Jack zijn eigen borgtocht van 3.500 dollar en kwam hij weer vrij. Daarna zei hij in een gesprek met TMZ dat de dag dat hij werd gearresteerd ‘de saaiste van zijn leven was’.

Hij zou eerst vijf uur in een kleine cel hebben gezeten, moest vervolgens een foto en vingerafdrukken maken en bracht daarna nog eens tien uur in een wat grotere cel door waar hij eindelijk wat telefoontjes mocht plegen. Voordat hij naar huis mocht, werd hij wéér in een andere cel geplaatst. Daar deed hij een dutje en werd hij uiteindelijk wakker geschud door – volgens hem – ‘hele aardige’ bewakers die hem naar huis stuurden.

In deze live action-bewerking beantwoordt Moana (ook wel Vaiana in het Nederlands) de roep van de oceaan en reist ze voor het eerst met de beruchte halfgod Maui voorbij het rif van haar eiland Motunui om haar volk te redden. Samen maken de twee een onvergetelijke reis die zowel hoogte- als dieptepunten kent.

Catherine Laga’aia speelt de hoofdrol in de live action-remake en Dwayne Johnson kruipt net als in de animatieversie in de huid van Maui. Andere acteurs die in ‘Moana’ te zien zullen zijn, zijn John Tui als Moana’s vader, Frankie Adams als Moana’s moeder en Rena Owen als Gramma Tala.

De live action-versie van 'Moana' gaat op 10 juli 2026 in première.
