Jonathan, die de eerste homoseksuele ‘sexiest man alive’ is, liet in de ‘Tonight Show’ weten blij te zijn met zijn winst. “Het is een enorme eer. Natuurlijk voel ik me enorm gevleid. En het is volkomen absurd”, zegt hij tegen het Amerikaanse tijdschrift People, dat al sinds 1985 elk jaar iemand verkiest tot meest sexy man ter wereld.

Jonathan treedt met zijn nieuwe titel in de voetsporen van John Krasinski, die vorig jaar werd uitgeroepen tot meest serxy man op aarde. Het jaar daarvoor ging die eer naar Patrick Dempsey en het jaar daarvoor naar Chris Evans. Andere winnaars van de afgelopen jaren zijn onder meer Channing Tatum, Chris Hemsworth, George Clooney, Idris Elba en Brad Pitt.

In het filmpje zie we naast Kristen Bell (Joanne) ook Adam Brody (Noah) voorbijkomen, net als Timothy Simons (Sasha), Jackie Tohn (Esther) en Justine Lupe (Morgan). Stuk voor stuk zijn ze ontzettend blij. Van ‘great, great, great’ tot ‘yaaaay’. De meest blije reacties komen voorbij.

Het eerste seizoen van ‘Nobody Wants This’ ging over een agnostische podcasthost en een onconventionele rabbijn die allebei op hetzelfde feestje zijn. Wanneer ze samen naar buiten lopen, merkt het onwaarschijnlijke paar dat er iets tussen hen is. Maar laten ze het toe, aangezien ze een compleet andere kijk op het leven hebben, met alle moderne obstakels voor de liefde en hun soms goedbedoelde, soms saboterende families?

Op die vraag krijgen kijkers in het tweede seizoen antwoord als Noah en Joanne er alles aan doen om samen een ‘wij’ te vormen. Dat seizoen is sinds een paar weken te zien op Netflix. Het is nog niet bekend wanneer we het derde kunnen verwachten.
